آدم وميغن كنديان عملوا كمعلمين لغة انجليزية بكوريا الجنوبية وتعرفوا وأحبّوا بعض هناك ثم تزوجوا وبعد شهر اتى مافاجأهم

تم إكتشاف اصابة ميغن بالسرطان وبمرحلة متأخرة، وكان آدم يتسلل لغرفتها رغم رفض الاطباء له فقط ليكون بالقرب منها

لم تعيش طويلا توفت مباشرة، وكانت ميغن عندها لائحة من 30امنية حرصت ان تحققها ولم تستطع كونه الموت كان اسرع، وابى ادم الا انه يحققها

ادم حقق 10أمنيات الى الان، ومن ضمن امنياتها ان تسكن 5دول والمشاركة بمارثون وقراءة كل سنة 12كتاب وتقضي 100ساعة عمل كمتطوعة وغيرها

وتمنت ان تحظى على الدكتوراة، ومؤخرا احتفل ادم بحصوله على الباكلوريوس وان يبدأ بعد ثلاثة شهور بالدراسات العليا
